Courtney's song writing abilities began at age 5 when she wrote a song about the beauty of colours and at 7 wrote about love lost and heartbreak! Needless to say, Courtney has always had a great imagination and an incredible ear for melody.
A staple on the Toronto music scene, Courtney performs like a seasoned pro while delivering an intimate and friendly show every time out. Courtney’s musical talent is matched by her charismatic personality both on stage and off. She mingles among the crowd before and after her sets creating a personal connection with each member of the audience. She possesses a truly unique voice mixed with an old soul, youthful exuberance and the ability to move listeners with her gritty, smooth, folk rock.
Courtney’s first attempt at recording an EP, All My Friends Are Superheroes, was incredibly successful. She caught the eye of Warner Music and landed her song "That's What Happens" on 'Women and Songs 7'. Since then Courtney has continued to grow in talent and popularity turning heads with her rich lyrics and captivating live performances.
